On Sunday the weekend of the Festival de la Pilar (see previous post) are the girls in the WG not there. So we have this time the whole place for us and not just the small room. We also use accordingly. We sleep in the living room and have breakfast on the balcony. Since it is a kept real.
Then we make a trip to Montjuic, the mountain is the Barcelona, \u200b\u200bright on the edge of town and the sea. From there we have really great views over the city and the port, which is really impressive, because that is pretty big. Montjuic is to relax optimal. The arrival is something special. Barceloneta (the tip, the jutting into the sea) is from a cable car to Montjuic and then a gondola to the summit. We drive but with the Metro to a cable-hauled train and then take the little cable car, because we are not sure know whether the other drives. Then we hike to the summit around the castle, enjoy the view, the calm and the sun. Miles away we discover authorize a pretty cool bar and we deserved a San Miguel (which is really good). Down we go from the cable car over a few gardens to the National Museum (at the foot of the Montjuic Espanya Pl) and do not look at the Font Magica. The fountain is always listed at the weekend a Wasser-/Licht-/Musikspektakel. Well, except Sundays, so will not. Never mind, was still a great day.
